Scorched By You

By Carole Nichols

Your touch, hot as the sun,
Invades and I come undone.
You lips are a hungry fire
That send me even higher

Branded and passion burned,
Yet ever for you I yearned
To be melted to the core
Consumed and wanting more.

And you, glow a radiant glow.
As I lose my breath, I know
That I'd lay open for that heat
Sated, fulfilled, again replete.

  1. Did you watch that 'show' on television about "Orgasmic Birth."

If only I'd known that 17 years ago.

There's a 'fine line' between love and hate, pain and pleasure.

I'm gonna try a little harder to stay optimistic a little longer today, and since I'm not writing for a living...think I'll give up on the punctuation for now.

  2. By the way, watched a movie about a writer with an EGO...it was a SCI-FI flick.

    Was wondering about Jane?

    Anyway, I'm jealous!!!

Tell QV, and maybe that 'word of mouth' like this internet 'grapevine' might 'GET BACK'...

    reminds me of a song

I'm not awful jealous though...just enough to realize it's really work...

Especially if you have a 'specific' assignment...that would be either a bear...or a boss.

    I'm just rambling....

reminds me of the first car I drove...or the car I drove for the very, first time.

    LOL

I like your poetry, and you have so much talent...

And to be perfectly honest, I'm just beside myself (in case you didn't already know it).

  5. Wow, that 1933 Auburn is sure something you can "feel and touch," if you can get close enough.

    "The Phaeton?"...shouldn't that be 'Phantom?'

Nice 'quaint, little house behind it' reminds me of a woman.
