Why We Fight

Carole Nichols

Eyes spoke of tender love,
yet full of unbearable sadness.
Did you know that you shouldn't go?
And you asked, "Please don's leave me there."

Eyes hoped for a long and fullfilled life
Did you know the money would steal it away?
Do you haunt the man with the fatal touch?
Can you see all that he's done?

Do you cry for justice in the dark night?
Rest in peace, Danny; we fight your fight.

  1. "Do you haunt them with the fatal touch?
Can you see all that they did, and have, and have not done?"

Forgive me for 'playing' with your words.

Might be best not to be.

  3. So what kind of idiot was that shrink?

Did you see the 'painting' he did with the skull?

What the heck do you think he meant by that?

Looked pretty simple in my eyes.

    Dear Carole,
You wrote 'man'...did you mean 'mankind?'

What do you think of the shrink? Of course, HKS probably employed her, right?

  5. Who is 'Tim?'

    Or which one?

  6. I don't understand the reference to a male shrink.

  7. Guess you meant 'DNA Daddy?'

  8. Sex had nothing to do with it.

    Regarding the 'shrink,' that is.

Except maybe her employer, at large possibly.

  9. Tim was the most fascinating and talented driver there has ever been. He died August 13, 1989.

    Not in the least.

  11. So did you mean HKS?

Forgive me for being so dense.

By the way, seems Tim Fan has watched Talladega Nights...or whatever.

Danny obviously got drugs at a very young age, and although some were prescribed, seems he had no supervision.

Reminds me of a few mothers I've known that thought their kids were hyperactive, and learned they could just go to the 'Doc' and get a 'magic chill pill' and sedate them.

    Lord Have Mercy!!!

  12. S.O.S.

    Son of a Star!!!

    Son of a Snob?

    Better than S.O.B.

    I guess.

  13. What was prescribed to him didn't kill him.

This was good enough to add a couple of extra clicks.

  15. We all know by now that what was prescribed for him did.

Read this and think twice and cry.

You might want to argue, and we could, I'm sure...but what good would that do?

'That kid' obviously had little self esteem, and lived in a shadow, that few will ever know.

However, too many do know...and live in silence.

His mom, his grandmom, his DNA Daddy, Hugh Hefner, Marshall, HKS, and the shrink...and mostly those on the streets that couldn't give this kid what he needed most...

    A reason to live?

And, wonder when his works of art will go on display? And, well maybe his little sister will profit from 'All That.'

    Notice I didn't mention Larry?

  16. There's still a slight chance he was fighting an incurable and un-insurable disease.

  17. Yeah right...

    SHE LIES BIG TIME!!!

    Might be a nice title...

  18. Might be an old friend here that remembers me as critter?

Pretty scary to think I wasn't such a good friend, either.

  19. I'd rather call you anything besides Anony.
Daniel was killed by someone his mother trusted.

  20. So where is justice?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yeah, right.

Hugh new she had a babe, and so did Marshall, and Grandma, too.

By the time HKS wanted her, what was left of him...I mean Daniel of course.

    What a tragedy.

    Let's blame it on money.

  22. Hugh knew.

Hef reminds me of garbage bags.

  23. Talk about a shrink...or shrink wrap.

    Guess...

    Jeans and shrink wrap, too!!!

In the beginning seems there was an old man that just liked her breasts and set her up with all of those jewels...and Hef was, no doubt, one with pressing ones...

    Don't get me started, lol.

Here that roar, it's a little kittie, really.

Reminds me of Ms. Muffit and Katie Courick (sp?).

    And ABC.

And, Charlie and Needling Art, and Obama, and threads woven into a perfect tapestry.

Faith, I do have a little left...just enough I hope.

Every little human girl should think that Hugh Hefner loves his girls nextdoor, just as much as he loves himself.

Tired of caps and quotation marks.

  24. Just a thought...

'That Kid' should have thought that Hugh Hefner loved him, too.

But Hugh was just another professional right?

Guess, 'That Kid' kinda got lost in the shuffle.

Reminds me of Poker, what a word.

  25. Freida, what I'm finding so damn scary is that I'm actually beginning to understand what you're saying! lolol

    ReplyDelete
  26. That is scary!

'Cause I know I don't always make sense.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So, there's no 'thin line' between right and wrong....and love and hate...

Just a 'Tubular Bells' like the stuff we get on TV and even seems...

Even seams reminds me of sewing...

And Dr. Drew and Ms. Phillips...

I don't think that 'incest' is a common thang...

Just think they're thinking they're right making a few extra, extra, read all about it, bucks that way.

    So, sorry...

    Reminds me of a song...

    "Uncle Albert"

  28. I think 'that scary thing you trusted' was what ended a, and many lives...

Hard enough to avoid 'them' on the street, or just be a passer-by...

    Yet 'The Star' gets struck.
