So lost was I.... I didn't know,
Till you found me and showed the way.
The path wasn't gone, just hidden;
You gently brushed the leaves away.


So tired was I....I didn't know,
Till you held me in your arms and rocked.
Like a child, I cried myself to sleep;
With your heart, my dreams were unlocked.


So cold was I....I didn't know,
Till the warmth in your eyes shown on me.
The heat of your lips branded my skin,
Melting the ice, setting me free.


So alone was I....I didn't know,
Till you seeped into my imprisoned soul.
Floating in the well of your boundless love,
Till doubt did drown; I was made whole.


So unsure was I....I didn't know,
For the past kept echoing in my mind.
You smiled at me, said "Believe in yourself",
And it's so easy to do, now, I find....


For you believed in me.
