Champagne Bubbles
BY CAROLE NICHOLS
Soothing summer breezes
Sifting the silky golden hair,
And daydreams are tickled
By the wisps that feather there.
Lying in sweet surrender,
Naked and exposed,
What those daydreams are,
Only she knows.
Champagne bubble float,
Alight upon her face,
To kiss her rosy cheeks,
Thirsty for a taste.
She reaches for the sunshine,
Eager for the heat,
Lost in her daydreams,
Looking so sweet.
What a mystery she is,
There for your eyes alone,
If you blink or look away,
She might just be gone
