Ghost

BY CAROLE NICHOLS

In the haunting silence of the night
I hear faint echos of the past.
The muted, fading engines' roar,
Racing against time, life flying fast.

You are more than just a memory,
Yet so much less than what is real.
Forever young, forever gone;
You linger in the grey, so surreal.

  1. Maybe I should read Burt's book.

  2. There will be a tribute to Bobby Alison in downtown Concord NC, I think it will be on May 22nd.

I don't get out much, but I might just attend.

That family seems to have had as much heartache as the Kennedy's, just not quite so famous.

  3. ...maybe 'driving' should be more exciting...

    Or at least more important.

    Reminds me of chewing gum.

    Reminds me GPS.

Reminds me of all kinds of gadgets.

Cars are weapons and they kill more people than those wars over seas.

Riding the bullet...think I'll go trolling.

Not much into surfing, or riding big waves.

Reminds me of strollers and babies.

    And carriages, and horses...

    Gosh I love animals.

    ...and I love multiplication....

    LOL....

"The Kennedy's" and "The Jackson's" and

    Anna Nicole Smith...did too!!!
(Although she actually seems now to have been more aware of simple addition than they did...even if her last name really wasn't really 'Smith')

This is not supposed to make any sense.

Just tapping on keys and trying not to think at all.
